Mother Gothel’s Revenge - Artwork

“In her rage she seized Rapunzel's beautiful hair, twisted it twice round her left hand, snatched up a pair of shears and cut off the plaits, which fell to the ground.”

I felt great joy and excitement creating my new artwork based on Rapunzel by the Brothers Grimm. It brought back so many memories of the fairytales books I read as a child. The beautiful illustrations by talented artists who brought to life the characters and events in each tale. I poured over the details in the worlds they made. Today, I love reading the same stories to my son and seeing his reactions. I hope you can see the passion, details and commitment I put into my new piece. And perhaps you’ll be reminded of those magical fairytales you read as a child.

An original ink drawing on Arches 300gsm cold pressed acid free archival heavyweight paper. Paper measures 14.3” x 10.2” (36.5cm x 26cm).

I sign each artwork and include the title and year the piece was created.
Will be shipped flat and protected with strong packing material to insure the artwork arrives at your home in the same pristine condition it leaves my studio. Includes tracking number.
