• Hello. My name is Monika Mitkute and I am an artist based in Dublin, Ireland. I am originally from Lithuania, where I received my art degree in printmaking. Since becoming a full time artist in 2016 my work has been exhibited and sold in Ireland, London, Berlin, Toronto, America and Japan. Career highlights have included: an AOI World Illustration nomination for my mural ‘World of Wonder’ created for LinkedIn’s EU headquarters, in 2017 I had the honour of illustrating Neringa Vaitkutė‘s award winning book The Bog Chronicles, and in 2019 my piece “Eoghan” won an Excellence Prize at the Awagami International Miniature Print Exhibition in Japan. Each month I exclusively offer an original artwork as part of WoWxWoW’s group shows. My work is inspired by a mix of nature, fantasy, different cultures and folktales. I regularly update my shop with both original artwork and prints.
